I've always had a huge fascination with extraterrestrial's & ufo's....
as a kid for 6months straight I had alien abduction nightmares and I grew up with a slew of media on the subject...from unsolved mysteries, x-files and numerous amounts of film. still to this day the scene in "signs" gives me chills.... so with all the new revelations & hype around it.... I wanted to harken back to the Roswell days... mixed with a little metaluna mutant....mixed with that mid-century atomic era / ufo craze....and you have "we're not alone" - DOA times
